Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker admits confidence is surging through the club.
Germany are on top form en route to the World Cup, Arsenal are top of the table, and Mertesacker is underpinning both teams.
"Yeah, it feels good personally to be on top of the league at the moment with Arsenal," he said. "We improved our start, and with Germany as well. Everything is fixed now for Brazil, this weekend we can focus on Arsenal. When you want to stay on top, you have to be consistent and we have missed that during the last two seasons."
