Arsenal legend Paul Merson believes Arsenal's free-flowing system is perfect for Alexandre Lacazette.

Lacazette arrives at the Emirates accompanied with a terrific goalscoring record.

The former Lyon man scored 37 goals across all competitions last season and 25+ for the two seasons before that.

"Lacazette is a goalscorer," Merson told talkSPORT.

"He will suit Arsenal's system. They have always needed a natural goalscorer and that's what he is. The one thing he will do is get a lot of chances and he can score a goal, so I think he will be a success."
