Former Arsenal star Paul Merson is surprised Hull City allowed Aaron Lennon to move to Everton.

The Tottenham winger joined Everton on-loan on Monday.

"I think he's a very good player who out the Spurs team," said Merson.

"I like him, he is a big loss for Hull. Everton had a right touch in my opinion."
