Former Aston Villa star Paul Merson has hailed the emergence of Jack Grealish.

The youngster is currently in fine form and hitting the headlines after his fine FA Cup performance against Liverpool.

Merson told the Daily Star: "I was screaming for Paul Lambert to play him when he was at Aston Villa. The boy's got no fear.

"Tim Sherwood has given him a chance, just like he did with Harry Kane - and look where Kane is now. This lad can play, believe me. He always tries to look forward and he's always full of confidence."
