The agent of Alex Meret says that it is likely the player is going to make a move to Watford in the near future.

Meret, a 20-year-old goalkeeper, has been linked with Watford in the past few weeks. He is currently out on loan at SPAL, but it appears that a move to Watford is likely.

Meret is owned by Udinese, which is a club that has ties to Watford. His future will be at Udinese or Watford.

"It's amazing how he's come back after missing the last six months. He's got an extraordinary future ahead of him. If you look at the time missed this year, he'll have to be a regular next year somewhere," his agent Federico Pastorello said.

"Given that he is owned by Udinese, I see him playing for a team owned by Pozzo. That means Udinese or, at most, Watford."
