Bernard Mendy regards his move to Hull City as a springboard to a bigger club.
Mendy told football365.fr: "That is true that I received many offers from Italian, Spanish and German clubs. I could also have gone to Marseille, but it looked complicated regarding my attachment to PSG.
"Lyon? This didn't happen because the directors didn't find an agreement. Anyway, I wanted to play Premier League football again and I didn't think twice because I knew the manager [Phil Brown] from my time at Bolton.
"Hull is a springboard to me. But if we stay up, I could also complete my three-year deal. My career is not over and I know what I'm worth and where I come from.
"I will always be criticised, but I know that I always gave my all to PSG. In good and bad moments."
