Super agent Jorge Mendes and Wolves have been cleared after league authorities ruled the Portuguese is not formally involved with the Championship winners.
The Mirror says Wolves have surged to the Championship title but have been met with scorn along the way over the relationship between the club's owners, Fosun International, and the Portuguese agent.
However EFL officials have cleared Wolves of any wrongdoing, stating that he holds no official role at the club.
League officials have conducted a 'comprehensive review' of the agent's links with the club, and found that “there is no requirement for him to submit to the Owners' and Directors' Test.
The EFL have met with the Wolves hierarchy after clubs, including Leeds United, Aston Villa and Derby County, raised concerns over the links with Mendes.
