Felipe Melo insists Juventus can shake off their current crisis.

The Brazil international midfielder has been heavily blamed for Juve's disappointing campaign this season.

But Melo told fifa.com: "Juventus are a great club and like all great clubs they have to win. They haven't done so for some years. A lot was expected of us and the hopes that we could win the Scudetto were high.

"Now the only place where we can resolve our situation is on the pitch. We are treading a tough path but it happens to every team, see Milan at the start of the season.

"I know how to behave under pressure. When I was first called up for the national team, 99 per cent of the people were critical towards me. I changed their minds by playing well.

"Right now we have to remain calm and even if the people say that we aren't a great team, we play for a great club and I am convinced that we will overcome this moment."
