Wigan Athletic captain Mario Melchiot insists they will take the game to Chelsea this weekend.
The Latics take on Carlo Ancelotti's champions-elect at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in what is being tipped as a home banker.
But skipper Melchiot, 33 - who spent five years as a full-back for Chelsea - pointed to the fact Roberto Martinez's men have toppled Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa and CHELSEA this season.
He said: "Everybody can beat each other and that's something we've learned from the season.
"Even last season, for the big boys like Chelsea, United and Arsenal it wasn't difficult if they were playing against teams below 10th spot.
"But now it's getting harder, they know now when they turn up and play against us we can compete with them."
