Melbourne Victory's Ward tightlipped on future

Melbourne Victory midfielder Nick Ward is tightlipped over his future. The former QPR midfielder comes off contract at the end of this A-League season.

"I'm really more focused on playing at the moment," Ward told the Herald-Sun. "It hasn't been the greatest season with injuries and stuff, so I just want to focus on a good end to the season and then sit down and talk."

While the two expansion teams, North Queensland Fury and Gold Coast United, have been extending offers to almost any free-agents, Ward seems to have been able to keep any suitors at arm's length.

"I haven't had any conversations with anyone at the moment," Ward said. "I'm just focused on playing."
