Fulham have confirmed that they have re-signed Greek veteran Giorgos Karagounis.
The 36-year old midfielder had emerged as a target for A-League club Melbourne Victory but has penned a one-year deal with the Cottagers.
Former Panathinaikos star Karagounis joined Fulham in September 2012 and made 28 appearances for Martin Jol's side last season.
A Fulham statement read: "The Club is delighted to confirm that Giorgos Karagounis has signed a new one-year contract with Fulham that will keep him at Craven Cottage until 30th June 2014."
