Melbourne Victory and Samsung will not be a partnership next season after the club and electronics manufacturer failed to reach an agreement.
But the Victory are already in talks with potential replacements, confirmed by chief executive Geoff Miles.
"We have a very optimistic outlook despite the tightening of the world economic climate," he said.
"With our guaranteed qualification for the Asian Champions League we believe that we have a lot to offer our commercial partner.
"It places us in a unique position in a fairly crowded sporting market...part of the benefit of being in the world game is that the global interest and for us with that participation in Asia and a potential (television) audience in the billions."
