Melbourne Victory have joined the growing number of A-League clubs to organise friendlies with clubs from abroad after announcing they will take on Argentine powerhouse Boca Juniors.
The match will take place at Etihad Stadium on Friday, July 16 and will be part of Boca's pre-season world tour that will take in New Zealand, England and the USA.
Boca have won 24 national titles in Argentina as well as 18 international trophies including the Copa Libertadores on six occasions.
Their current squad includes Argentina national team striker Martin Palermo and their youth academy has produced players like Juan Roman Riquelme, Nicolas Burdisso and Carlos Tevez.
