Melbourne Victory's Postecoglou to lead A-League All-Stars against Man Utd

Melbourne Victory head coach Ange Postecoglou has been appointed as the coach of the A-League All-Stars for their clash with Manchester United this season.

An A-League select will take on Sir Alex Ferguson's star-studded United line-up in Sydney on July 20 with Postecoglou to lead the players are being voted in by fans in a poll conduct on footballaustralia.com.au.

Postecoglou received 36.8% of votes, edging out Western Sydney Wanderers' Tony Popovic on 36.2% with Central Coast Mariners boss Graham Arnold next with 15.4%.

The A-League All-Stars team will be selected with a fan vote at a-leagueallstars.com.au to be concluded by April 30 with a weighting system of 50% fan vote, 20% Expert Panel vote and 20% Player vote via the PFA Team of the Year system.
