Melbourne Victory head coach Kevin Muscat has defended his decision to bring Tom Rogic to the club.
The promising 21-year old midfielder has made just 11 appearances in total for the A-League outfit since joining on loan from Celtic in January, mainly due to a niggling groin injury.
There has been plenty of criticism directed at Muscat for bringing the Australia international to the Victory but the former Wolves and Millwall defender felt Rogic's presence had been a positive.
"Let's wait till we get to the back end of it," said Muscat of the former Central Coast Mariners star.
"Coming here, the period that he did get here, it's been difficult for him. We knew there was a number of factors that were going to contribute to that and how much football he'd play.
"But it's certainly been really good to have him Tom here. And in hindsight I certainly wouldn't have changed (my mind). I'd have still got him here, he's been really good for us."
