A-League champions Melbourne Victory have re-signed young stars Lawrence Thomas and Jesse Makarounas ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.
Makarounas was handed a one-year extension, while reserve goalkeeper Thomas signed a deal that would keep him at the club until the end of the 2016/17 season.
Head coach Kevin Muscat noted the pair's importance to the club's on-field future.
"It is a very pleasing outcome to have two young, talented players such as Lawrence and Jesse re-sign and commit to Melbourne Victory's future," Muscat said.
"Both players have made valuable contributions to the team when they've been given their opportunities and they are both important players to our football club moving forward."
Makarounas, 21, featured nine times in Victory's championship-winning season, while Thomas played seven games as Nathan Coe's back-up.
