Melbourne Victory after ex-Bologna, Swansea defender Moras

Melbourne Victory head coach Ange Postecoglou is reportedly targeting Greek defender Vangelis Moras.

The 30-year old centre-back is currently with Italian club Cesena but they are looking to ease their wage bill after being relegated to the Serie B.

Moras has emerged as a key target for the Victory, who released veteran Roddy Vargas at the end of last season, with Postecoglou keen to bring in a strong partner for skipper Adrian Leijer.

Moras, who has represented Greece on 16 occasions, kicked off his career with Larissa in 1999 and has since played for such clubs as AEK Athens, Bologna and Swansea City - making one Premier League appearance for the Swans last season while on a short-term contract.
