Melbourne Victory coach Ernie Merrick has labeled Ney Fabiano as his 'super sub'.
Usually for a player this means he is only capable of playing one role and the ego could take a beating as the player himself would like to be seen as more.
In this case however, Victory striker Ney Fabiano isn't worried about how he is perceived outside of the club and is concentrating on one thing...scoring goals.
"Ernie is the boss and we have to respect his decision. It's for the best of the team, we have to respect that," he said through teammate and translator Rodrigo Vargas.
"That's a striker's life, we live or die by scoring goals. It doesn't really matter if I am coming on or starting games.
"The most important thing is scoring. If I am coming on and scoring that's the same thing as starting and scoring and playing a full game."
