Incoming A-League club have made their first international signing by completing a deal for Dutch striker Rutger Worm.
The 24-year old has joined from Dutch Eredivisie club NEC Nijmegen on a free transfer and will sign a two-year deal with the Heart.
Worm will team up with fellow Dutchman John van 't Schip, who is the head coach of the new Melbourne franchise, and is looking forward to his move downunder.
"I'm really looking forward to my transfer. I expect it to be an amazing experience. I wanted a new challenge and Australia is a beautiful country. They are really interested in sports and that is important for me," Worm said to De Gelderlander.
