Incoming A-League club Melbourne Heart are expected to today announce the signing of inaugural coach John van't Schip.
Currently assistant manager with Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam, van't Schip has reportedly agreed a deal with the second Melbourne team and is likely to sign on for two years.
Heart chief executive Scott Nunn yesterday confirmed that the club will make an announcement today although he stopped short of naming names.
The fact that van't Schip flew into Melbourne on Thursday indicates he may be ready to take the job offer.
