Melbourne Heart play out drab stalemate with Sydney FC

Melbourne Heart and Sydney FC played out a drab 0-0 draw in front of a tiny crowd at AAMI Park tonight.

With little goalmouth action, Sydney FC defender Byun Sung-Hwan saw red in injury-time after picking up two bookings in quick succession but the Sky Blues held out for the point.

The closest either team came was in the first-half when Mark Bridge had a shot spectacularly cleared off the line by Melbourne captain Simon Colosimo in the opening half.

Colosimo impressed in one of his best performances in a Red & White shirt tonight.

The result moves fifth-placed Heart to 21 points, while the Sky Blues go above Perth Glory into ninth with 15 points.
