Melbourne Heart coach John van't Schip is chasing Adelaide United fullback Scott Jamieson.
The Adelaide Advertiser says Heart chief executive Scott Munn confirmed yesterday van't Schip - a former Dutch international and advocate of giant club Ajax's coaching systems - had made an inquiry for the former Bolton Wanderers trainee.
"We've certainly had a look at Scott Jamieson," he said.
"John van't Schip was interested in him. He thinks he's a very good player with good technical ability but we haven't signed him and we're not going to make any announcements."
