Megson urges Bolton fans to return and "go crackers"

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is urging fans to return to the Reebok.

The Trotters are offering a free pint of beer to the first 1,000 fans to turn up at the Reebok for the derby with Blackburn tomorrow.

It is the latest in a series of initiatives aimed at drumming up support.

The club's average attendance this season is under 22,000 - the Reebok holds nearly 29,000.

Wanderers have also set up a special singing section in the North Stand.

Megson said: "We're making a big effort to promote club-supporter relationships and not just due to the credit crunch.

"The singing section helped create an incredible atmosphere for the Arsenal game.

"It's nice to have a specially designated area where people are encouraged to go crackers!"
