Megson insists Bolton still not safe

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson refuses to accept their safe after thumping Middlesbrough 4-1 on Saturday.

He said: “I am still not saying we are safe. We talked about the coming together and common bond between players and supporters we had at this stage last season and we got the same response today.

“We’ve reduced the wage bill and this summer there’s an opportunity to spring forward if we’re still in the Premier League.”
