Bolton boss Gary Megson believes the Trotters' never-say-die attitude can drive them up the Premier League table.
The Trotters face Manchester City on Saturday with renewed confidence following their 4-1 victory over fellow strugglers Wigan at the weekend.
And the 'ginger Mourinho' is determined to build on a run of form which has seen them lose just one game in their last eight in all competitions
Megson said: "The spirit is terrific, the dressing room is terrific and these kind of results (against Wigan) can only help.
"We can play better but in terms of having a right good go, we are probably as good as you can get."
