Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is adamant they'll get top price for Nicolas Anelka if he is to be sold.

He said: "All the transfer talk surrounding Nicolas doesn't affect him, judging from the way he trains and goes about his work.

"I would imagine Nicolas Anelka is used to dealing with it more than most.

"Throughout his career, I am sure has had to get used to speculation linking him with possible transfers. He wasn't just delighted he scored the goal against United; he was delighted we had won the game.

"If Nic is here for a long time then great. If he's not, then we've got to make sure that, when he leaves, it makes us a stronger football club."
