Rangers are showing interest in Bosnian defender Boris Pandza.

The 26-year old centre-back is currently with Belgian club Mechelen but could be lured to Glasgow this summer according to manager Ally McCoist.

"Boris has come to our attention too and my chief Bosnian scout Sasa Papac, who I talk to on a regular basis, speaks highly of him," he said.

"They are both from Mostar so they know each other pretty well and Sasa has given him a glowing report."
