Paul McShane was outstanding for Sunderland in their victory over Bohemians in Ireland.

The £2.5m defender was excellent alongside Nyron Nosworthy at centre-back, racing back to clear off the line in the first half and then making a terrific block to deny Bohs in the second.

Black Cats boss Roy Keane said: "On Saturday Paul showed why I brought him to the club - plenty of commitment and a few tackles. There was a great block in the second half."
