The manager of the surprise packets of the season so far wants more points for the club.
Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has urged his players to remain cautious but push for more points after recording a fifth-consecutive win when they accounted for Blackburn 2-1 on Tuesday night.
The win put the Blues sixth for the moment and McLeish wants to go further although he knows he has to remain wary of getting to carried away.
"We need to keep our feet in the ground but we need to challenge the players in every game," he said.
"We've got to try and amass as many points as possible as quickly as possible but we've achieved nothing yet.
"I'm really proud of the players. It was a phenomenal performance and I thought we could have won by more. I thought we were fantastic tonight."
McLeish heaped praised on striker Cameron Jerome for his brace, which took his tally to three goals for the season.
"It's fantastic. Cameron scored goals against Blackburn the last time they came here a couple of years ago. He was brilliant tonight," McLeish added.
