Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish is keen to shift out several fringe players.
The Mirror says McLeish has used most of his transfer budget on Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia and aims to create room on his wage bill by moving on £40,000-a-week flop Habib Beye.
The Senegalese full-back can leave on a free - if he can find a new club.
Villa will also listen to offers for other players with just 12 months left on their contract, such as defenders Carlos Cuellar and Luke Young.
