Alex McLeish is ready to pen his new Birmingham City contract.

McLeish has confirmed he finally expects to sign a new contract at Birmingham City this week.

McLeish is expected to sign a three-year deal and said: "It is pretty good. I think we are pretty close and I think it will be nailed this week."
