Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish admits he may sell some of his top players this summer.
"Maybe it's even a player I'd prefer to keep. That can happen, in order to make other things happen.
"I have done that in the past. Kenny Miller was sold for £3million to Rangers and that allowed me to do so many good things at Hibs.
"So I have to think of that and obviously there's not an unlimited pot of money here. I totally understand the board when they say we don't want to go down the road of bankrupting ourselves, going mental.
"But I do believe a little bit of speculation would be very positive for the club."
