Scotland Under-19 striker Robert McHugh has signed a new three-year contract with Motherwell.
McHugh made his first team debut as a 16-year-old under Mark McGhee.
He said: "I'm delighted - this gives me that little bit more security.
"Last season was reasonable for me - it was great to get my first goal and my first start and I want to build on that."
Well have snapped up Airdrie United keeper Lee Hollis and offered a trial to freed Hearts striker Ryan Wallace during pre-season.
