Marcus McGuane signed his first professional contract with Arsenal on Thursday.
The 17-year-old defensive midfielder put pen to paper on a senior deal after impressing in the youth ranks with the Gunners.
McGuane is an England U17 international with a nice range of passing who has already represented the club at U21 level and has been given the opportunity to regularly train with the first team.
A statement on Arsenal's official website read: “Everyone at Arsenal would like to congratulate Marcus on his new contract and looks forward to his continued progression with the club."
Additionally, McGuane expressed his delight at committing himself to the club he joined as a six-year-old.
