Ryan McGivern has signed a new three-year contract with Manchester City.

The 19-year-old left-back was part of last season's FA Youth Cup-winning side, and earlier this season spent a month with Morecambe on loan.

McGivern's excellent progress over the last 12 months has also seen him win four caps for the senior Northern Ireland side, and he is now with Nigel Worthington's squad as they prepare for qualifiers against Poland and Slovenia.
