Everton midfielder Aiden McGeady feels they can send a message to their rivals with victory at Chelsea.
Everton have re-emerged this season as a major force.
McGeady told evertontv: "I think it would send out a message that we've got to be taken quite seriously.
"I think we already are to be honest, having already beaten Chelsea at home this season, having beaten Manchester United away and having played well against the big teams. It would be nice to beat them home and away though. That would be great for us.
"I've played against Chelsea a couple of times before in the Champions League when I was at Spartak Moscow. We did okay at home but got a bit of a doing at Stamford Bridge, so you know it's a difficult place to go. But the good thing about this league is that anyone can beat anyone on their day."
