McGeady praise for Celtic's new signings

Rangers are currently four points clear at the top of the league but Celtic have been in impressive form of late following away thrashings of Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.

McGeady attributes the team's improved form to the impact made by January signings Barry Robson, Georgios Samaras and Andreas Hinkel.

"The fans are getting excited because they know the manager has brought in some real quality, and it's great for the team to have fresh faces and more options.

"The fact that we are pushing for the title means it's going to help us in the long run and there is still a lot of football to be played this season."

The Old Firm are still to meet another three times this season with the next match scheduled to take place on March 29, and McGeady believes this could be a pivotal month in the destination of the league championship.
