Aiden McGeady has no problem with Everton boss Roberto Martinez talking up his qualities.
McGeady insists he can handle the pressure after Martinez said he could make the difference in the club's push for a top-four place.
The 27-year-old said: "Football is a pressure game. I had that pressure when I was at Celtic.
"You have pressure to create something when you have the ball and, if you lose the ball, you have 60,000 fans on your back.
"I can handle it. That is a big statement the manager has made but it shows he has a lot of faith in me."
