Celtic earned an opening day three points with a 3-1 win at Aberdeen. Aiden McGeady began the scoring with a close range strike as Celtic raced into a 3-0 half time lead.
The visitors then scored twice just before the break to expose the hosts defensive frailties.
McGeady doubled his tally then Scott McDonald made it three to virtually seal the outcome.
Sone Aluko pulled one back for Aberdeen after the break but it proved to be no more than consolation for the Dons.
Dons goalkeeper Jamie Langfield then denied McGeady a hat-trick with a fine stop.
