After more than a year out with a knee injury Hibernian defender Kevin McCann is hoping to get his career back on track. "I'm going back down to see the specialist on Monday and hopefully it will be just a five-minute job, a handshake and him giving me the all-clear to get back to full training," explained the 21 year old.
"I got two weeks but I've been going in to the club three or four days a week this summer and doing my own stuff in my local park on the other days to try to make sure I'm ready.
"I'm hoping to start back with the boys on Thursday and join in straight away. The physio is happy with me. I'm feeling a lot stronger now.
"I'll have to see how I reach to full training, but I'm aiming to be involved in the pre-season games and for it to be as normal a time as possible."
