McFlynn, Griffiths and Milligan all ousted by tribunal

The independent Match Review Panel had three cases to preside over from the weekend's A-League matches. Sydney FC's Terry McFlynn was given a one match ban for 'use of offensive or abusive language against a match official' in his side's loss to Adelaide United on Saturday night whilst Newcastle Jets pair Joel Griffiths and Mark Milligan were both handed two match penalties for their indiscretions against Wellington Phoenix.

Griffiths was suspended for 'violent conduct when not challenging for the ball' when he lashed out at Karl Dodd and Milligan's double-footed challenge was deemed to be 'serious foul play'.
