Celtic striker Scott McDonald helped his side qualify for the Scottish CIS Insurance Cup in a dramatic semi-final against Dundee United. In an epic battle, the scores finished 0-0 at full-time and were still deadlocked at the end of 120 minutes of action.
That bought about a penalty shoot-out which almost seemed as long and intense as the game itself.
Celtic eventually came out on top in the shoot-out, winning 11-10.
McDonald stepped up to take the Hoops first penalty (second overall) and duly netted before 10 of his teammates stood at the penalty spot.
It came down to a miss from Dundee's Willo Flood before McDonald took his second shot from the spot and won the game for Gordon Strachan's side in one of the most tense and thrilling finales to a match seen in years.
