Australian striker Scott McDonald enjoyed some good form in the Tommy Burns tribute match at Celtic Park on the weekend.

Celtic defeated a Tommy Burns Select XI, 11-4, in a fitting tribute for the late legend.

McDonald was delighted to have been a part of the game, marking his respect for the great Burns and also pointed out that it was a great opportunity to get some extra game time before going into camp with the Socceroos for the World Cup qualifier against Qatar.

The striker scored twice in the first half against in a match boasting past and present stars of the game.
