Although he wasn't on the scoresheet, Aussie Scott McDonald made an important contribution for Celtic on the weekend. The Hoops took on the lowly St Mirren and came up trumps 3-0 and remains four points clear on the top of the Scottish Premier League table.
McDonald was busy throughout the match and was unlucky not to score early in the piece when he had a left foot shot tipped away by St Mirren goalkeeper Mark Howard.
Georgios Samaras and Shunsuke Nakamura scored for Celtic in the 64th and 66th minutes before McDonald set up substitute Cillian Sheridan for their third goal.
