McDonald enjoys Scottish Cup title with Celtic

Scott McDonald has won the Scottish Cup with Celtic. The Hoops managed to overcome bitter rivals Rangers 2-0 in the Old Firm clash at Hampden Park in extra-time to secure the first silverware on offer for the season.

Darren O'Dea scored the first goal in the first minute of extra-time to give Celtic the advantage and the victory was rounded out in the final seconds thanks to a penalty by Aiden McGeady.

McDonald had the chance to score late in the match but put his shot wide however it didn't affect the eventual outcome of the match and the Australian took home a winners medal.
