Blackburn Rovers No2 Neil McDonald says they've underperformed over the last 18 months.
Rovers travel to Fulham today 11th in the Premier League, higher than they have been for more than a year.
McDonald said: "A year and half ago we came seventh. We are disappointed with the last 18 months.
"For the past four or five years, Blackburn Rovers have been a top 10 club and that is where we aim to be. Wednesday is a crucial catch up game win that and we will be looking even better.
"We had 10 very difficult games. We are disappointed with the result but looking at the next 10 games as really important.
"We have won away from home and now it is consistency."
