Celtic striker Scott McDonald is wary of a lowly Hamilton Academical side who has just one win to their name this season. The Hoops meet the Accies at New Douglas Park on Sunday and McDonald knows they will be out take a scalp and push themselves away from the relegation zone.
Hamilton have recorded just five points from eight matches this term but that fact does not say a win will be any easier according to the Australian international.
"We know they will be out to beat us, just like every other team when we play them away," McDonald told tribalfootball.com.
"The important thing for us is that we remain calm and patient and do our best to get three points so we can stay within striking distance of the top side."
Celtic are currently a point behind title rivals Rangers, who meet third-placed Hibernian on Saturday, which is live on Setanta Sports at 12:55am Sunday morning.
