Celtic striker Scott McDonald says the club is determined to push further ahead on the Scottish Premier League table this weekend. The Hoops take on fourth-placed Dundee United at Tannadice Park this Sunday night and require three points to keep themselves clear of title rivals Rangers.
McDonald knows just how important it is to keep a buffer of their Glasgow enemies, especially as the Ibrox men have a game in hand to make up the two points they have fallen behind Celtic.
"We know that we always need to stay clear of Rangers and by doing that we have to pick up points wherever we go," McDonald told tribalfootball.com.
"Dundee are a tough team to break down, especially at home so we will need to be focused on our game 10 percent. It will be a great test for us and one I'm looking forward to after having the international break."
Celtic's clash with Dundee is LIVE on Setanta Sports this Sunday night at 11:30pm whilst Rangers' meeting with Kilmarnock, who are third from bottom, is also LIVE this weekend.
