Reading boss Brian McDermott says they won't lie down against FA Cup opponents Manchester United.

Reading have won 10 points in their last five games, but remain in the relegation zone.

The league is their priority, but the Cup is not an irrelevance.

McDermott said: "The decisions have to go our way. We need to play and defend well. If those things come together, we have a chance."
