Reading boss Brian McDermott says their summer market work is now complete.

Dermott has slammed the chequebook shut after signing Watford's Adrian Mariappa and Chris Gunter from Nottingham Forest.

McDermott said: "We're done and dusted.

"Mariappa's a fantastic character who has done really well for Watford over a long period."
